There’s been some kind of freak-of-nature accident which has resulted in my being transported forward in time to my 40th birthday. Because I’m actually only 25 years old.

With Coeliac Awareness Week almost at an end, a blog post that I’ve written for Coeliac Australia has been featured on their site, Sick and Tired. It’s always exciting to get this kind of exposure, so please click here to have a look and to read the other stories. Our story is below, complete with before and after pics of my daughter.

Coeliac Awareness Week 13-20 March 2014

Stop Feeling Sick and Tired, get tested today

Coeliac Awareness Week started in Australia today. It’s run by Coeliac Australia and this year’s focus is on getting proper testing and diagnosis. A great theme, considering it’s a very under-diagnosed disease.

There’s a campaign on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to raise awareness. With a simple hashtag, you can get involved. So if you’re writing anything about Coeliac Disease or going gluten-free, use the hashtag #HappyCoeliac to spread the word.

And stay tuned, as my daughter and I will be making an appearance on Coeliac Australia’s Sick and Tired Blog. I’ll put the post here once it goes live. There are before and after diagnosis pictures, so I hope it will really get the message out there!
